Bug RPG is a game about spreading peace in a chaotic world. Most large animals were driven extinct by a mysterious plague, and humankind has vanished. A jumping spider made the discovery that he could survive by eating the berries of a mutated plant, and began a pilgrimage to end carnivory.
This spider, Milo, and his wife, Lela, helped found an isolated peaceful colony in a thicket near an abandoned human house. The thicket houses many interesting characters, like Muri the Mole Cricket, Coja the Hardy Cockroach, and Ruga the Wise Giant.
Milo and Lela returned from a short expedition in a panic, leaving Ruga with a single egg bearing their child, and left to never return. Their son Melo grew up always wondering why he was abandoned, and hopeful that he would see his parents some day.
Now a young adult, Melo sets off to continue spreading his father's peaceful sermon, and to learn of his parents' fate.
